Competitive Health Benefits Package, do not match 401k
Terrible benefits. Bare boned expensive medical with limited coverage
The best thing about the bartech's benefits is that you can work from home and I heard their maternity leave is very exceptional.
Bartech has an above-average benefits package for a contracting company. The costs are a little high, but that's due to Obamacare. As a contractor, you just have to deal with high benefit costs.
Heath insurance options were great to include dental and vision. Wasn't crazy about no sick days.
The perk I have is that I get paid for all holidays which is pretty nice but on the downside I never get a raise without a big negotiation that I have to personally request. After all, me getting a raise means them getting less money. The healthcare is also very expensive. There is a 401 K plan though.
We cap at 15 days of vacation, no 401k match, no sick days for new hires and only 4 for grandfathered employees and worst of all, they don't cover any of the cost for our short or long term disability. The health care is expensive. I pay $100 a week for BCBS for myself and dental for 2. I have only 70% coverage after a $1000 deductible! By comparison, the company I contract for pays 0 for everything!
Flexibility in work arrangements including virtual work
BCBS - Good coverage but expensive
too expensive, inferior, too hard to speak to a benefits professional
