You accumulate paid time off each paycheck. By the end of the year you can have 80 hours saved, only 40 hours roll over to the next year.

The Paid Time off policy is very generous! You start accruing time from day 1! They also offer increased PTO accruals at 2 years, 4 years and 6 years.

You accrue a few (very few) vacation hours every paycheck. When you want to use them they give you a hard time and it hurts your chances at promotions, etc.

I think they are very fair when it comes to Vacation and PTO. No problem using it either.

The best thing was you had PTO options. The bad part was trying to figure out how many hours you had to use and actually getting them approved. For example, your PTO hours shown on the company website would differ from PTO hours on your paystub. Very confusing.

If they lay you off a week before Christmas and just ONE DAY before you submitted to use the PTO they will not honor that
