I do not utilize the insurance but it was available. There is an employee discount on store brands at both Cabelas and Bass Pro and then a smaller discount percentage on other brands. No discount on ammo, guns, electronics though. There is also an outside site where you can learn about products and earn deep discounts on items. I started the day before Thanksgiving and several days around the store had catered meals, so much so that I took trays of food home. They also gave everyone a holiday glazed ham. if the employee did not want it they were able to sign off for them to be donated to a local organization for needy families. I cannot speak to vacation or 401k as I am a seasonal employee. They have an great program where employees donate money from their paychecks that go into a fund that is for emergencies. Recently, it was used by an employee who lost their home in a fire. It is a great way to help each other.
Great discounts on outdoors supplies and bass pro related house brands. Marquee items like boats, rv’s, atv’s have no discount. You can also get reward points with discounts.
I hear they have good benefits, I start tomorrow so I'll find out.

It was a basic package medical and 401k. It went over holidays (few), time off, period of time to be employed to be entitled to medical and vacations.
