I worked part time and was offered a 401 k plan as well as paid time off based on the hours I worked. The paid time off was use it or lose it.
Bass Pro probably has an average benefits package but most of this you are paying a percentage out of your paycheck. Onsite gym is nice but not really available to those working in the warehouse.
The Employee discount was certainly the best part of the Benefits. It's 40% off of all things from BPS owned brands, of which there are several, and 15% off of most everything else except guns, electronics, and non-BPS reels.
You will be ask to cancel your vacation to covers others. It happens all the time.
Employee benefits for part-time employees are limited to discounts on merchandise (40% on house brands and 15% on everything else), and a lower interest rate if they apply or update their Bass Pro Shops Reward Mastercard. All employees have the ability to supplement their income with credit card application referrals. Full time employees receive medical benefits, a 401k plan, and paid vacation days. All employees receive 4 paid holidays per year, and are entitled to sickdays. Overtime pay, sick days, and time and a half/double time varies by state.
The only benefit that I got from Bass Pro Shops was my 50% discount on everything in the store. I didn't get any medical benefits or anything so I honestly can't complain.
No health insurance for part time employees.
solid 401k plan, good bonus structure, poor insurance
There wasnt one offered to many people because they cut most employees hours and jobs
It's very difficult to even get the hours to qualify for benefits. Most people who work there don't get any.
