Vacation was good. Health insurance was expensive because of the ACA. Sick time was stupid, you had to miss 2 consecutive days and have a doctor excuse to get paid for the sick days, otherwise you just lost a day of work.
40% on certain items 15% on all others. Health Care and 401K I guess is available for full time, if you make it to full time.

Bass Pro Shops does not negotiate benefits. I did not require health insurance, so essentially I was paid less because they were unwilling to compensate in other areas. Vacation time was nonnegotiable. I receive more vacation time in my current job after 1 month than people who have been with Bass Pro 30+ years.
The cost of premiums was not terrible. I have heard of better and worse. The coverage was on the better said also. If I was to be "stuck" with this plan over some of the other options I have been offered elsewhere I would have no complaints. Insurance is not always offered to part-time employees.
Even as part time depending on how many hours you work you will build up vacation. After 2 years, I got 2 week vacation. The discount is the best. You receive 40% off bass pro brands and 15% other brands. At certain times of the year around Christmas and some other hoildays they do a 20% off any other brand.
Employee discount on BPS brands was high, 40%; any other eligible item was only 15% 401 K only matched $0.50 per dollar which isn't good they have an anniversary gift catalog that begins after 5 years
I did not need the insurance plan that the job offered. The discounts were pretty reasonable. The managers would some times not acknowledge the request for time off even if you entered the information two weeks in advance.
For seasonal workers, you don't really get any benefits. When I asked for time off, I was given it no questions asked.
After working there for 6 months I was eligible for a insurance as well as for a 401k. I thought that was nice to offer to part time employees. I also got vacation time even as part time.
