Great work life balance! Understanding leadership
Nothing spectacular. Time off is okay.
Mediocre benefit plan. Might have changed in the past 4 years
You have to pay a lot for crappy Kaiser coverage.
High season is during the holiday . Time off at that time is not a good idea unless you are way ahead of quota
There is no work/life balance in the newspaper industry at all!
Health insurance cost is horrible. Blue Cross is twice the cost of Kaiser. If you have personal reasons for not going with Kaiser, or have an established relationship with you PCP, then you will pay so much more. If you are indifferent to either one, Kaiser is the most practical choice. Costs increase during each open enrollment period, so expect your costs to go up every year, and take home less, because there are rarely opportunities for an increase of pay.
No 401k match, no cash bonuses, no stock options. Expensive premiums for health coverage.
Benefits are slightly pricey. No 401k match, which after a couple of years translates into a lot of money/value to long term employees. Free parking for San Jose employees is nice.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
