US Standard 6-8 weeks maternity leave. Usually no back fill for your work while you are out. The US is lacking compared to the benefits received in Germany

Standard 6 week non surgery/8 week surgery leave. Many companies in area are doing 10/12 week 80-100% pay so improvement could be helpful in retaining female employees

In NJ, you're protected with NJ baby bonding, which is unpaid via Bayer. Moms get 2 weeks paid, plus 6 -10 weeks depending on c section vs. natural contingent on years of service (rest is baby bonding up to 12 weeks); Dads get 2 weeks paid and 12 weeks unpaid via NJ baby bonding.
