401k employer match is excellent. Health benefits have improved over the last 3 years and includes vision, dental, and medical. There is a decent in-network physician option to select from.
The good thing is that there are a lot of benefits offered -- 401k, credit union, tuition reimbursement for health care degrees, health insurance, life insurance, discounts on many things. The worst thing is that the insurance should really be better considering that this is a healthcare corporation that literally owns the health insurance company, Scott & White Health Plan, as well as the hospitals, doctor's offices, pharmacies, and clinics you will have to use...and it still costs a ridiculous amount! As an employee with the best insurance they offer I am frequently shocked by how little they cover. Also it is crazy that nurses do not get sick days and will be punished both if they call in and if they leave early for being sick....
Best is that they offer 5% match to your 401K. Worst is that Insurance is getting more and more expensive each year with high deductibles and very limited network.
The PTO is reasonable and I believe there is a slight discount on health insurance

BSWH only recognizes 6 holidays a year. You are required to use your PTO for the 6 holidays.
