If you live nearby and seek care at Baystate, HNE is great. With a growing commuter population, it’s not enough.

That it’s premiums and deductible and copay are substantially more expensive than other smalller healthcare/hospitals in the area. Especially when the insurance offered is a subsidy or partnered with the health system.. the benefits could cover more and premiums be competitive for the health system employees using the in house healthcare options/resources or;ultrasound, cray, day stay surgery, etc.

Price for health is great! They GIVE us short term disability, other employers charge about $25/paycheck thru a 3rd party provider like Afflac. Tuition reimbursement is very low. The employees who have been there a long time had a sick leave bank... Would like that back.

Very expensive plan. Other employers in the area used the same provider and their benefits are much better than what is provided to us, and at a lower cost than ours. The provider is good, it is just that our employer did not chose a better plan for us.
