Similar to any other business
Accrual hours are reasonable and competitive but must use PTO/vacation hours as sick time/absence personal if hours not available in sick bank or eib until hours are exhausted leaving none for a long weekend or vacation break without illness or issues personal reasons. Also despite what is earned you can not use pto vacation time or even submit a request during a select time frame of qyear creating diff to plan a actual event before the 8 weeks prior creating an impossibility for vacations that need reservations months in advance ie:camping getaway package etc.
It's all the same, PTO. You earn as you work.
