the vacation policy was very useful - no limit to the number of days and managers were very supportive of taking time off
They did away with free time off and bonus hourly incentives when they became privately owned.
Best thing: 20 days off / year Worst thing: It's not really unlimited when it's actually only 20 days off.
Great benefits (healthcare, dental, vision). 401k matching is low, but also good vacation policy. Benefits are the biggest perk of the company.
Great policies regarding time off. Retirement and benefits packages seem standard for the industry.
Lacking compared to other Austin tech companies. No real 401k match, no bonus plans, and no equity (company went private). Medical is on par with any company of this size. Sabbatical program was 4 years but recently now needs 5 years (most current employees who were more than half way there were not grandfathered in). No confidence benefits will improve. Management is fully aware but 6 months after knowledge of acquisition no actions.
