You train for a very long time ! There's lots to learn in a store like this, and training takes place over the course of a few months and you retrain on certain areas as they become more relevant. Training on bedding/bath products, training on cookware, training on cash regisyers, training on pack and hold, training on bridal registries, not sure if I'm leaving anything out but those are the major ones
Manager training was good 10 years ago. Line staff training inadequate
The training program was not comprehensive, we went over how to run the cash registers for one day and then we were completely on our own. They kind of threw us to the wolves. Had to figure the whole internet ordering system out on my own.
there is no training involved.
Great Job training they train you about everything literally cashier , window panels , why to buy & how to buy
You get minimum training and then they throw you to the floor.
Pathetic and rushed due to their payroll and burn and hire policy.
Good training! Learned within a week!
It is long, but well worth it, they trained me great and I felt comfortable working this job immediately
I don't feel like I learned anything new from the training that I didn't hear at previous retail jobs. It was also very rushed. Also, not enough training on the hardest part of the job: trying to work with the VERY old convoluted computer programs.
