Full Suite of Benefits at an incredibly low cost to the associate. Many choices of providers and a full range of coverages available.
The employee discount was great. It was 20 percent off of your entire cart. They were very flexible too and were always nice people.
You receive immediate health benefits since day 1 of being hired!! Plus health benefits aren’t very expensive at all.
Health insurance allows you to choose between several insurance companies, allowing different deductibles. Dental, vision, short-term disability, life insurance, legal representation, identity theft insurance all offered.
Loved the team environment and the 20% off discount. Worst thing was low pay.
No benefits for a part time employee, which is what everyone is. There were a lot of discounts in store and with other partnered companies and that was pretty nice. Plus you could pick a family member that could use your discounts with out you present.
The worst thing about Bed Bath & Beyond is that they do not offer benefits to part time associates and they do not hire full time associates so therefore, unless you are on the management team, you will not qualify to receive benefits and they make sure to keep it that way no matter how long of duration you have worked for the company. There are employees who have given over a decade of their lives to Bed Bath & Beyond and still are only able to obtain a part time schedule and never receive benefits.
I do not have benefits through the company. From what I have heard there is a variety of different plans. I have also heard through the grapevine that the benefit packages keep going up every year,
no paid time-off or vacation, but can request as many days off as you want non-paid, no benefits as a part-time worker and no possibility to become a full-time worker
I was never offer any of those things I’m assuming it’s because I was a part time associate.
