PTO should be increased , although there is an option to purchase up to 40 hours extra, paid 6 holidays but with an option around certain holidays to work three ten hour days to get an additional day off.
The benefit cost are not terrible
Flexible with how hours (40 hours/week) are worked during that week.
Cost. Pay to much for benefits to get so little in return.
Belcan offers very limited options and they all turn out to have poor coverage as well. The most I’be ever had to pay out of pocket
They match 50% of your contributions to 401k not to exceed 2% of your salary. The company contribution is not vested right away
Benefits include lackluster medical and dental plans. There is a 401k offering through a third party, but no match is offered. No vacation or PTO. No relocation assistance.
The benefits are good. They offer everything.
All the insurance benefits are fine. The only downside is time off. Depending on your position you accrue vacation at a specific rate. Its common to get only 2 weeks off per year but the way they make up for this is they offer a flexible schedule and compressed work weeks. If you want to work 40 hours between Monday and Thursday you can take off Friday through Sunday every week.
No benefits except the minimum requirements for medical and dental. Even then, they will slack on getting the paperwork in so you can use the benefits (but they will take it out of your pay). No vacation days. You are an outsider in the company and Belcan will do anything they can to negatively impact your engineering career.
