There is 50% match on the first 3% of contributions, you have to be there 5 years to fully vest. There is no loan options with the 401k plan.
The 401k plan does not offer great options to select from and it takes 6 years to be fully vested in the plan. The company does a match on 3%; they automatically enroll new associates in the plan for 6% of their pay.
The 401k matching is low and you have to be employed for 6 years before you are vested.
Instead of simply contributing to an anonymous fund, the management regularly makes a consultant available to personalize our 401(k) and financial planning.
The matching rate by the employer is lower then national average and their match does not go into effect immediately. There is a waiting period. The vesting plan is a 5 year plan to be 100% vested.
the employer match is low
match up to 6% or so
The plan is ok ... probably average or a little better than average 401 k plan
The company will natch the employee contribution
The 401K is typical of other companies in the area (they match 50% up to 6% of your salary), but they don't tell you up front that the matching only occurs if you've worked 1000 hours that (calendar) year and are still employed there on December 31st.
