Best thing: Solid plan, no nonsense.
LOVED the employee discount.
Good 401k matching, little time off, good healthcare options
The best thing about benefits package was the employee discount. 30% off was the norm but there were sales on top of the discount which would increase the percentage of the discount.
Ridiculous vacation policy; no work/life balance or work from home options
Best thing: 30% off merchandise Worst thing: everything else. nothing is given to you in writing.
They offered everything, 401 k, some school tuition, and medical
401K has generous matching, up to 5%. The medical, dental, and vision plans are standard, but all have high deductibles. Paid time off is minimal and hard to get approved. Generous employee discounts, although with the salary of an assistant buyer, it is still hard to afford anything.
Best: Health insurance Worst: Stringent vacation policy, poor work-life balance, extremely disconnected from Neiman Marcus HQ
The managers take very long to approve vacation times.
