Usually they can get instructors to come on-site so that you don't have to travel too far to attend.

  • Health Insurance(6 comments)

Good variety of plans and a large portion of coverage the company takes care of.

  • Legal Assistance(6 comments)

Legal assistance is not available but there are attorneys recommended that can assist.

Former Underwriting Technician in Macon, GA, Georgia

I retired in sept 2018. I did not recieve my pension when i was supposed to because GEICO put the year 2028 instead of 2018. Then they sent my check direct deposit to a closed account. After 3 months i started receiving a paper check via mail. Then yesterday instead of receiving my retirement check i got a notice showing my check went direct deposit into the closed account. The representative was rude and did not help. I have no idea when i will receive my next pension check

As you are technically an independent contractor, there are no company provided benefits other than some training, which you normally pay a fee for.

As an agent you receive no benefits. Unless hired as a salary/hourly position, you receive nothing other than a mentorship from other agents/brokers.
