At Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, we understand that you have a life beyond your commitment with us. And because we know that the work you do is not only for the good of the patients we take care of – but also for the good of you and yours – listed below are just some of the many amenities we provide to make sure you’re taken care of too.
Great health insurance, $5 Red Sox tickets
You would think that a medical center would have excellent healthcare benefits. The plans are more expensive than most, and it can still be really hard to get an appointment. And time off is almost impossible. There's this weird way that time off adds up and I'm always worrying I won't have enough for a vacation. No one should have to have that stress or feel like they can't take major holidays off. Those are the 2 biggest drawbacks.
Benefits need improvement, they are not as robust as they should be.
None that i can think of
In the Plymouth location they offer deductible write offs for any services rendered in the hospital.
Best thing is that the employer matches 50% of your contribution to your 401k
The best thing is that the health insurance benefits are truly very comprehensive and if you receive care within the hospital system can be low cost too
Forced into having majority of care be from BIDMC or to pay $$$ for a PPO. The best thing is that we can have free prescriptions if we use the pharmacy. Get 4 weeks of time off but that includes holidays and if you’re sick. Only some people get to work from home or have flexible schedules
Easy healthcare, reasonable PTO policies.
Red Sox tickets Good insurance
