Pro: Great health, dental and vision plans. Commuter Plan benefit also a plus. Con: Pay for on site parking only offered to senior level and medical staff.
Great medical options, especially if you choose to remain in network. This may be awkward for some, but the hospital provides such good care that I didn't mind reviving care in the same network of employment. Good dental. Spouse coverage was also great for us.
affordable packages for single or family
The pension plan was frozen a few years ago.
The benefits are standard. You get discounted Red Sox tickets, discounted movie passes and discounts on cell phone service. The main thing I dislike about the benefits is how long it takes to accumulate earned time (PTO) and since you have to use earned time for every holiday, it dwindles very quickly.
average benefits but could be better. time off is on an ET pool which is used for holidays, vacation, sick days and everything. 28 days accrual potential when hired, with increases as you stay with the hospital.
Best - commuter subsidy. Worst - health insurance
Excellent health insurance and dental coverage with a lot of options and excellent rates for in-network providers. Vacation time is accrued but builds up quickly.
PTO, 401K, Pension, education. The hospital had excellent benefits and the 401K had many choices to choose from. There were a lot of options.
Comprehensive benefits package , health insurance options, dental and vision. 401k, 403b, long term and short term disability. Tuition reimbursement, pay time off
