They're flexible if you need it, but expect to lose significant hours even though you hardly get any to begin with.
Just like any other retail job you have to put in your time off two weeks in advance. If you need time off make friends with your coworkers.
As a regular employee they had flexible schedules.
They are willing to work with your life and being too busy one week, but if the manager copy/pastes the schedule then you will be screwed for a while until they have to change it for some reason.
