“You get a great deal on their private label wines! Discount stacks on top of the sales that are going on in the store, too.”
“Minimal time is given to training. There is no ongoing training due to lack of hours.”
“They're flexible if you need it, but expect to lose significant hours even though you hardly get any to begin with.”
Decent salary rate per hour
Benefits offered to full-time and part-time employees. Small 401(k) contribution, medical/dental package options, employee discount at all stores.
Part time employees don't get access to Medical and Dental which is offered as either HMO or PPO. Being full time myself, I thought the benefits were a good fit for my needs. Every employee gets discounts running even deeper with a limited number of private collection items and 5 cent wines (30% off). 401K matching is offered despite being a little low. I'm still thanks they offer it when a lot of other employers don't anymore. Most of the job training on on the go. It's very much sink or swim. Mileage is paid out if you need to or are asked to transfer/deliver product on the clock so make sure you document and submit it promptly. Performance bonuses are based off of store expenses you have no way to verify and sales figures that are theoretical. Only Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers get bonuses now. I wouldn't count on management bonuses unless you are at a brand new store.
As a part time employee, you are not offered benefits
I loved the health insurance, it covered a lot more than expected and relatively in expensive
no benefits, only store and assistant manager receive benefits, you get sales tax off and that about it. You get very "reduced hours", 2-4 days a week max 5 hour shifts.
You get to go to wine tastings and big events that are a blast
Expensive with low coverage and high deductible for heath benefits. Only available to full time employees which were only management. No benefits of any kind were offered to non management employees
vision for part-time thats good
Little to no bonus. To hit bonus you have several factors out of your control with no reporting for you to monitor.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
