We get free food and drinks while here onsite including once per month catered lunch, birthday celebration, and daily options. My salary is good for the cleaning industry however is pennies compared to what most employees at this company make. The health insurance is company paid for the employee but the dependents can get quite pricey, which with the salaries most people earn here isn't a huge problem but for me it is quite difficult.
The best thing is the on-site gym and lunch. You can save some money here. The worst thing is your stock will never become of any value and the 401k match is a joke.
The benefits are not bad for a small company. I've seen worse from larger companies.
Unlimited PTO and no cost health care
Good medical coverage provider, bad dental provider. I started dental work with our old provider and the new provider won't cover completion of the work cause it is existing. Unlimited PTO will only be approved 2 weeks a year. You can't work from home like they claim.
Believe it or not, the unlimited PTO is the worst benefit. Why? Obviously one cannot truly take off 4 days per week, every week and still expect to be employed. Instead it should probably be callled 'discretionary time off'. The problem is that normally one accrues PTO at a specified rate. Since it is earned one does not feel bad about taking time off because it is earned. Plus some companies force you to use it. With no accrual one can never know for sure how much is too much or on the flip side be forced to use it. Plus in some states it is considered an asset and can be cashed out. As others have mentioned the stock is questionable as well since it vests over 4-5 years and isn't publicly traded so it may not have any actual value and could easily get diluted if they accept more VC money or decide to issue a bunch more, making it not worth much. Hopefully they decide to go public with it without diluting it by issuing more large chunks.
Unlimited PTO, onsite chiropractor, stock options that are worth a lot and for sure more in the future. Medical plan is average.
The company provides amazing benefits to its employees
The health insurance is exceptional
Unlimited PTO, full medical, dental, vision, etc. 401k is matched. Stock options are given at hire date, though their value is anyone's guess.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
