“Offers equal benefits for both maternity and paternity.”
“Great health insurance options and they're all either completely or largely paid for by the company.”
“Bitly's work from home policies differ by department and can generally only start after a few months on the job. Most days should be spent in the office and Bitly isn't hiring remote-only employees but the flexibility to work from home to accept deliveries or work around appointments is appreciated!”
Bitly has a great benefits package including 401k matching, unlimited PTO, and flexible fridays. They also offer a wellness reimbursement and a yearly stipend for further education.
The focus on work/life balance
Bitly offers competitive salary as well as a wellness stipend, cellphone reimbursement, and unlimited PTO. During COVID-19 they also have offered Summer Fridays all year long and Mental Health Days.
Employee benefits at Bitly are fair and stable.
Does it make sense to not ever buy a place in the Bay Area and just invest the money in SPY, and keep my RSU, maximize my ESSP and 401k? This is the most effortless approach for me, plus, I do not want to buy a place around 1M but translate to 1 hour of commute to my work. Anything wrong with it? For the record, I do have real estates in Seattle too.
I've got an interview at Amazon (specifically AWS) for a non-technical position this week. Is AWS as bad as they say it is, even for non-engineers? 😅 Also, I never realized how mediocre AMZ's benefits are...what are some of the reasons (besides RSUs) that would make anyone work there over other tech companies???
How do you stay organized at work? I know I have a lot of projects to manage and a ton of action items to complete, but I can only do so much before I forget what I was supposed to remember to do. I want to go into the new year strong especially when I come back from 3 weeks vacation.
Very generous health insurance, wellness stipend, WFH stipend, 401K match.
401k w/ 4% match, Unlimited time off, great health insurance
Generous benefits package across the board
Bitly offers great health insurance, which is either covered completely by the company or heavily subsidized, and 401k matching. For a company of Bitly's size and stage, the benefits are really quite good.
Great benefits - 401k (4% match), flexible PTO and WFH, day 1 health insurance.
Okay plan. You get a majority of the things you would in the bay area.
