Starting out, you only get 80 hours (10 work days) per year. After 5 years, you get 120 hours, etc. Not enough vacation time for the hours you put in. I am on site and work 80+ hours per week, but still only get 80 hours PER YEAR of vacation. If I leave the company, this will be why.

Worse than almost everywhere else in the area. Only 2 weeks until you've been here for 5 years. Only 7.5 Holidays. We have to work a half day on christmas eve and have to work new years eve.

Full time under 5 years get 80 hours (2 weeks) of vacation; between 5 & 10 years get 120 hours (3 weeks) of vacation; and more than 10 years get 160 hours (4 weeks) of vacation

StarStarStarStarStar Current Mechanical Engineer IV in Overland Park, Kansas

9 holidays and 10 days of paid vacation if you have been there for less than 5 years. This is pathetic. If you don't want people to burn out and quit, offer a minimum 20 days paid vacation and offer extended, unpaid leave.
