“payment up to 80% of healt”
“PTO when you need it”
“They offer it, but the match is 33% up to 6%. Most companies are closer to 100% up to 6%, that I've interviewed with recently”
flexible work arrangements, specifically allowing people to work from home when needed
Benefits cover most things you would expect for a tech company located in a major city
Generally speaking HSAs all around, low price high deductible. Vision and Dental, 401k.
You have to take an HSA they Blackboard does not put into.
Overall, it was a well rounded benefits package; competitive.
The benefits package at Blackboard is average. I wish I didn't have such a high out of the pocket deductible, but hey at least I'm covered.
Health Insurance is high dollar co-pay which is not the optimum choice for those who do not frequently seek healthcare services.
Great benefits package overall and good spouses
Was told I would be brought on as a temp for 3 months and I would become full time if they kept me after three months. I stayed past my initial contact time and was chosen to handle 4 different school systems, but I was never offered full time or given benefits.
The benefits really are no good. No PTO or Sick 1st year. No paid Holidays for 3 years. People walk around all day long while others work. They don't tell you this before you start; so keep your options open. Not a professional workplace or a place that shows they care about their workers. Very top heavy
