Block Benefits

If your flight is delayed 2+ hours because the pilots are not there, but the reason was an “act of god” in a 3rd city where the pilots were coming from - does that block us from benefits of the delay? Traveling with Delta in the US

My job used to have flexible PTO, after forcing us to work mandatory overtime from November - Feb for the busy season every weekend they were supposed to finally take the PTO block off. Instead they sent us an email letting us know the policy changed and if we had used any PTO before May we were now going to be creating a negative balance and we'd only be able to accrue 10 days a year moving forward to make it more equitable for everyone... This only affects hourly ICs who work most as is.

I miss working at a company that uses Zoom. Scheduling meetings on Teams/Outlook is just a lot of hassle, you don't know when people actually have other meetings scheduled or they just block the time off their schedule.

I’m being asked to submit 5 years worth of W2’s for 3rd party employment verification after signing an offer. I’m in CA which has laws re: employers not being able to request info regarding prior earnings. I’m more concerned though about there being highly sensitive EEOC info on W2’s which could be used to discriminate. I’m also not comfy with a 3rd party company having my tax info. Best way to handle? Send W2’s & block out pay/benefits/leave etc info
