Medical, dental, vision, pension, and they used their own insurance, so it was cheaper than some other plan. They also had a bunch of clubs that employees could join for fun.
Paid time off, 401k are great! Medical premiums are high as are deductibles
The health insurance was cheap and BCBS has great insurance in Texas. They also assisted me with tuition reimbursement which was great. There's nothing extra and the package is standard including health, vision, 401K(They do contribute), etc. The 401K matching was great as I quit around a year and withdrew my contributions.
Good Benefits and nice pension plan
They do not offer sick time, you have to use vacation time when you or your children are sick, and it is held against you at review time. The insurance is reasonable, I would think it would be better since it is an insurance company, I ended up staying on my husbands insurance since it was better. If you use Family leave for maternity you have to use all of your vacation time first, so if you need time after you get back from leave, you are out of luck. (also it is not paid)
The benefits package is typical to what is offered by most of the top reputable companies today in the United States.
No layoffs for permanent full time employees
The company funded pension plan and work from home
The benefits are generous; takes several years to become vested
Health insurance average for industry, 401K, vacation being revamped not as great as it once was.
