88 employees reported this benefit
10 paid holidays, start out with 20 PTO days per year and after 8 years you get 28 days. 3 months paternity leave. 4 week sabbatical every 5 years.
Seems at par for a large company with a policy
Decent number of days off each year.
A cap of 240 hours applies. You accrue 21 days to start, 23 days after 5 years, and 27 days after 15 years.
20 days a year ... can be used as sick time off
It's nice to start with 4 weeks paid time off that can be used for sick leave or vacation. Accruals are capped at 240 hours and management mandates PTO use during periodic shutdowns to balance the budget, so not all of it is within the employees control.
Start with 20 days per year as new hire (excluding 10 company holidays), goes up to 28 over 10 years of service.
Vacation time is standard and managers are flexible and approve time off requests promptly; they provide over 15 days the first 5 years.
I think the PTO allocated yearly is good. It starts at 20 days. And they enforced a very low cap to 160 hours (i think. Used to be 240) in 2015.
20 days PTO (including sick days)
