Great people and it's sort of a fantastic place to really get with strong folks who like to cook and do great things, all the time.
They do not pay for any holiday besides Christmas day, and you only get 20% off of the food.
Below average medical benefits and not 100% covered for management.
50% off food on the clock, 20% off the clock at any bob evans.
The worst thing is that every year for a very long time Bob Evans full time employees received vacstion pay which was, however many weeks you had earned by the number of years you worked there paid so if you had been there 10 years you would receive five weeks paid and it would come in a check seperate from your paycheck . Well ss of last year several employees that fad been with the company many years, didn't receive their vacation check they were counting on.when HR was called, they told us ph we are sorry but at the first of the year (which was 6 months before this) we changed the availability of vacation checks,to be eligible you had to work over a certain amount of hours,we did a bad job of letting you the employees know about the change, and we are sorry for that,we will try and handle situations like this in a better way in the future ,thanks your corporate guys who still get paid vacations!
Quarterly bonus was nice. More than my actual pay check. Didn't like how they kept changing the structure from year to year.
Competitive cost for all benefits
Offered severance pay after closing the location I worked at. They also let employees help closing the place up for double our regular pay. I appreciated this despite losing a job.
