The overall benefits package was very good. Company matching 401K 50% up to 6%. Insurance includes health, dental, and vision, all of which could be had a la carte.
Insurance isn't great. Bare minimum paid holidays. Flex time only available for some. Other benefits (cell phone, remote access) given inconsistently depending on which office you work.
Covers all the basics and compares well to big corporations. Does not offer paid sick days.
Benefits are solid for engineering/consulting. Not a lot of PTO, but that is expected in a client-driven field. Healthcare and 401K match are competitive. Other good perks like communter spending option, gym discounts, tuition assisstance.
Health insurance is expensive for what you get. PTO is a straight 16 days per year and the standard holidays. Sick time is included in PTO.. meaning if you're sick, it gets deducted from your PTO bank. (I've worked at prior companies that had separate sick/personal time off banks separate from actual paid vacation). I'm not sure how anyone would see sick and pto time together as a benefit. If its snowing and you can't get into the office safely, they make you use PTO time as well, even though we are now capable of working from home, or even if the state declares snow emergency and to keep off the roads- not good for morale.
Best - They listened to concerns about the 401k and improved the match to 50% up to 6% and the medical benefits costs didn't increase.
PTO is good and the health care is good too.
We were able to maintain current healthcare costs going into 2017 which is huge. Also, our 401k matching will increase which is awesome!
Perks, easy, deductibles, widely accepted Never had any issues getting coverage or help Enrollment easy and they really care that you're informed
Expensive health insurance for as little is covered. 401k matches 0.5% for the 1st 3% of your contribution. They finally lumped sick and vacation time together, so now we don't have to fake being sick if we've run out of vacation time. Flex time is office/PM specific and usually only during summer. I guess other arrangements could be negotiated. Transfer to other offices is available if they have the work for you.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
