The low-cost, high-deductable HSA plan is great only IF your employer helps out with seeding the account each year. However, that happened once (the initial year) and then we were left with a healthcare plan that had much less coverage than what we had before, but at a higher cost. The benefits were good, but the change in price was jarring and heavily factored in my decision to leave the company. I felt that the employees weren't being taken care of in exchange for the betterment of the bottom line.
Some of the unique perks are excellent, like work-from-home and tuition/education reimbursement. I wish company would contribute to our HSAs.
Very high deductible and expensive premiums. Average coverage
Company has great work-life balance
Overall great benefits package, health insurance is about as good as you're going to find nowadays, and paid time off for new parents.
Management is making an effort to improve the benefits and add perks. Gym reimbursement, flex time, etc.
Summer hours are standard practice for New York based media companies. When Bonnier acquired magazines from Time Inc., they cancelled summer hours because it is not common in Florida. New York employees still took the time off on Fridays until senior management gradually tolerated it. This is typical of the NY-vs-FL culture at Bonnier.

The CEO is very focused on building corporate culture and creating a great work life balance for employees. He is developing and initiating programs to promote health and wellness among employees and providing additional time off around holidays and the opportunity for tuition reimbursement.
There is a lot of flexibility because the managers are never there.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
