The 401K plan changed dramatically from the past into a plan that is no different then any other company and maybe leading down the path of being below average compared to other companies making bigger and better 401K plans.

6% company match into the 401-K at 100% is the second best plan I've ever had. It kept me here longer than it should have, because they only match if you're still employed as of January the next year; that makes it a fairly strong set of golden handcuffs.
excellent, they will match $ for $ up to $8,000. A great generous vacation package, also, the do have a PTO buy back program
6% company match plus a very informative and easy to use retirement website. Only downside is you have to be an employee through the end of the year to get the match. If you leave, you won't get it.

Booz Allen matches 100% on the first 6%, which is industry standard in this day and age. Multiple funds to choose from to diversify your 401k portfolio.
It is a great plan. You choose what percentage you want and at the end of a cycle they put in a certain percentage. Don't remember how much but Employee Capital ___ Program (ECAP) fund looks nice after 6 years.
