More options available now that MGM is the parent company.
The best thing is the flexibility that the PTO system gives an employee. In the department, you only need to ask for your days ahead of time and you'll not have a problem.
Borgata made it very easy to receive benefits and made sure to remind employees about the cut off repeatedly. The only thing that hurt was when they had to cut on cll/part-time employees to certain hours, which allowed them to not give benefits.
Decent health insurance but premiums increased every year. Bonus only for managers and above.
Okay but could be better
401k plus matching and good health insurance. It was great having a nursing clinic in the building, for emergency appointments. The employee appreciation events were really great too.
Best: At least it is insurance. Worst: Expensive i.e. High Co-Pay and deductibles
