“It's too low, which is why i rarely bought things there”
“The paid time off was fair and they made it painless to request. I was always approved of the time I requested off. ”
“The health insurance is bad, high deductible high cost. You can't deal with anything good.”
lots of paid time off
vacation time to full time employees after a full year, health insurance after 90 days, discount on merchandise if you pay with cash or Boscov credit card
Small company equals small benefits
Good insurance plans that offer discounted rates with a health check and apply even if you’re not in the best of health. Dental insurance covers mostly everything and there is no vision insurance because you can take advantage of your employee discount at one of many optical departments in the stores. The only thing lacking is the time off policies. They are just changing a few policies but their amount of time off is far behind what other companies offer.
For a full-time employee, after a year you can get up to 2 weeks of vacation, 401K, and health insurance.
Nice perks better than most retail. While there is no vision insurance there is a vision department within most stores where you can use your employee discount. That alone is cheaper than regular vision insurance.
I only worked part time, I was not offered benefits
Great place to be short term
The HR Department is really great about answering questions. The raises were predictable and fair. You could count on your hours and your schedule was consistent. Vacation days were painless to request. I did not take the medical plan (because I could still be on my parent's plan which was very good) but my understanding was that the medical plan was pretty standard.
The worst thing about the benefits is their are none other than a 15 percent discount on products
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
