Boscovs as a company offer the associates as well as the management and staff access to a variety of optional benefits including a cafeteria plan where the individual can chose the level and type of benefits that are right for themselves and their families.
Flexible time off, generous vacation time, good 401k match, average employee discount
Great vacation time and benefits
Company offers a competitive healthcare plan (includes dental, but not vision), and 401k program with employer match. Employee discount is a nice added perk.
Best: earned a weeks vacation after 6 months there, they offer health care to practically all employees including medical and dental. Worst: the cost of insurance is over half the paycheck.
It was the basic coverage
Paid vacation, health insecure, credit rewards program
Company is great and has great health insurance. The 401k is the best i had in any job i worked at.
From what I've used of the health insurance, it's good. Preventative exams are free, which are my primary visits when I do go to a doctor. The employee discount is nice, and there are periods of time where we get an extra discount. My 401K is doing well. They were partially matching 401K contributions, but have had to temporarily stop. There isn't flexibility with vacation time. It's given in weeks, you take Sunday-Saturday. You can't break it up and have a few days here and a day or two there. There isn't eye insurance. There is an eye doctor who uses space at the store, so you can get a discounted eye exam. Frames and lenses through them are expensive (like most places), luckily I found a cheap place to purchase glasses online.
