2 weeks paid time off, but difficult to use as they don't have great coverage options in most departments

As a per-diem, you don't get paid Vacation time.

    No such thing .. .. .. ... .. .. .. ... ... ... ... ... ...

All vacation, holidays, sick days and any time off are lumped together in the same bank.

One of the best. Yes, it's pooled and holidays come out of your earned time. If you work it right you can easily get 4-5 weeks of vacation. Just don't waste it on random call outs.

StarStarStarStarStar Current Research Assistant in Boston, Massachusetts

Offer around 25 days off per year for first 2-3 years, and then more after that.

StarStarStarStarStar Current Assistant Professor/Director in Boston, Massachusetts

30 days (but coming from europe that is nothing)

Don't bother going on medical leave if you get sick, use your PTO if you have enough especially if you need your differential! BCH doesn't care about the workers unless you are upper management!

Not enough given and if you are sick and go on medical leave you lose your differential and struggle until you get back to work

StarStarStarStarStar Former Executive Administrative Assistant in Boston, Massachusetts

Standard 2 weeks of vacation, satisfactory but not optimal, in my opinion
