In addition to paid time off and sick time, the University offers most staff many of the "bonus" days off that we all love: Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, and don't forget the Massachusetts special, Patriot's Day (AKA Marathon Day).

More paid days off than I've seen anywhere else. The whole week between Christmas and New Years is just paid time off as part of university intersession.

Vacation time and sick time are accrued separately, so it ends up being a pretty generous offer. Staff also get some holidays for winter break and other student holidays.

You can accrue up to two years which is unusual and if you have been there more than 15 years then your vacation time gets increased from 20 to 25 days
