As a part-time sales associate, my only benefit is an employee discount. I get 30% off at BoxLunch and 40% off at Hot Topic (since the two are sister stores).
The store is fun and fairly simple job for someone with no experience but, it doesn't really have much benefits for part-time employees.
You get a store discount
Nothing for part timers ... Maybe for full time
Everything was covered and the premiums were low.
Don't really receive much benefits because i am a retail sales associate, we can basically only get our employee discount and that's about it
Pros: Cheap Covers mental health problems Allows one personal day Get discounts on all brands of the company Cons: Not all management is eligible for health benefits Too little of a discount for a store that's more expensive than the other brands
You can only garner health benefits and bonuses if you're an upper level manager. Part-Time Assistant Manager is the minimum cut-off for benefits eligibility sadly.
Health care is only provided for assistant managers and store managers. You are able to have your spouse, kids or domestic partner enrolled in benefits. It's through UnitedHealthcare. You also get dental as well
You are able to work around fun and creative product which allows you to have great conversations with customers. Plus it's a bonus knowing you give back.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
