This is a great school that will help you to develop professionally, and spiritually. The values that the faculty and staff have are wonderful. The people are very kind.
The amount of vacation days
Career training is the focus.
Everyone is really eager to see you succeed here. Nobody wants to help you more than your co-workers and bosses. It's awesome.
Management may seem old school, but the technical skills they teach are cutting edge.
You have to carve it out for yourself - decide what skills you want and then figure out ways to develop it. Which is both a pro and a con depending on how you look at it.
In my department, each employee was offered a fully-reimbursed annual training conference of their choice. Also there were bi-annual workshops for the entire department. They offer all BYU courses for free to employees, so an employee can earn as many credits as they have time for, for free.
Lots of on-site (free) courses like coaching for success, team-building, and leadership skills.
It's nice to have a job where you are studying. Some of the part time jobs can even be related to a future career
