High family insurance was very high
The health insurance benefit does not begin until the first day of the month following 30 days after the first day of employment. Meaning, if you start on Jan 3 or Jan 29, your benefit will not begin until March 1. But, you will be paying employee contributions towards the benefit as soon as you sign up for your benefits. So, you could in theory pay 4 payments of the employee portion without actually being covered.
The company solicits input for possible improvement.
Benefits includes medical, dental, and vision.
Benefits are slim for a large company and at the time I was there, was an unusual structure as opposed to a traditional plan. This was a pain point for many employees, but may have improved over time.
While improvements have been made recently, the overall package is severely lacking. High deductible health plans, iffy prescription coverage, minimal 401k match and no recognition or service award program.
Ok, but not great - no paternity leave, health care ok, 401k match is pretty week
