To further their education and skill development, employees can attend in-house or external industry training courses, or take advantage of our tuition assistance program to further their careers.
Enjoying quality of life ‒ At Brooks, we want our employees to enjoy working for our company. That’s why we’ve arranged for those little extras to make your time at our company pleasurable. These “perks” include on-site subsidized cafeterias, corporate rate discounts on travel, fitness facilities and insurance, company social events, and participation in local fundraising fitness events. We sponsor an annual college scholarship competition that provides $5,000 scholarships to children of our employees.
Choice of Roth 401k or traditional with a match of 4.5% in which half vests after 1 year of employment and is completely vested after 2 years of employment. Brooks has a very popular ESPP program allowing employees to purchase shares at a discounted rate through payroll deductions. Also, for salaried individuals you have unlimited time off and for hourly employees you have PTO which you accrue and can receive a payout of PTO days that were not used.
Benefits are great. Time off, 401(k), ESPP are all good. The benefits package is better than previous places I have worked.
Brooks has surprisingly good benefits for the industry. They have a great ESPP program that many people have been very happy with, a student loan assistance program where Brooks contributes to student loans, tuition assistance to help fund furthering education, solid 401k average match of 4.5%. Also in Chelmsford theres a subsidized cafeteria, albeit the food isnt great but its still an option. also there is a nice profit sharing program to achieve a certain amount of days pay that is paid 2 times per year.
Tuition Assistance and Student Loan Assistance program is great! Brooks contributes $300 per quarter (after 6 months service) towards eligible loans. Also their 401k match is pretty solid (100% of the first 3% you contribute, and 50% of the next 3% you contribute). Some work from home arrangements are available. Stock purchase plan is great!
Excellent health benefits, flexible vacation/ time off policy, allow you to work from home as needed.
Excellent benefits in a toxic environment.
Flexible leave--no set amount of days, guideline of 15-20 days, regardless of years of service. In general, it is not abused, and is designed to encourage folks to use their vacation!
Flexible leave and Flexible hours really help manage the work/life balance. The week off between Christmas and New Years is also a huge bonus as well as the two days off for thanksgiving.
The heath benefit package is one of the best in the industry!
Ten paid holidays including a week between Christmas and New Years. Vacation and sick time is clumped together. Most managers are flexible with time off for salaried employees while some are not.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
