The worst is if your part time with full time hours you will only ever get 1 week vacation. Even after 20 years. If you are lucky to get full time your start date starts all over again to that full time date. even if you have worked there 5 or whatever years. And don't get written up that first year of your full time because then you lose all benefits until your second year. There are all sorts of hidden policy writing that is hidden.
Vacation is about average for retail. Problem is taking the time off. Somebody was always taking vacation in my store when I wanted to take mine. Due to turnover issues, I had to cancel more than once. Another time I think I just took a payout for a week.
They recently changed employee vacation time and took away a lot of time from employees
could apply for it online but was not always guaranteed. Was often asked to work on days i had asked off
Vacation and personal time is lost if not used.
As full time it's nice. When I left company I had 3 weeks of vacation time and 32 hours of personal time. That was with being a 7 year partner.
it is great, you get 30 hours vacation and 10 personal hours. So in the end you end up with 40 hours of paid time off.
