I did not receive any benefits package working there as an intern. I was aware of the 401k benefits for full time employees however
health insurance was very very very expensive. dental insurance was very very very expensive and did not cover much
Cigna Healthcare is good but not great. Covers about 80%. You pay 20%. Dental is good, MetLife.
Health insurance is Cigna so just okay, 401K match is good, employee discount is great, no tuition reimbursement
In season we get gift cards, sometimes even extra commission. Its one of the best places to work, highly recommend.
Brookstone offers an average benefits package that can be useful depending on your lifestyle.
Time off was hard to book.
time off was only given to Full time employees and insurance was only given to official full time employees and this means even if you clock over 35 hours on a weekly basis you will never get benefits which is illegal. The benefits in comparison to other places are really bad.
The hiring process for managers varies slightly at Brookstone locations. Workers may interview as many as two or three times, which represents the main difference between what entry-level job seekers encounter versus career professionals. Managerial hopefuls also interview with corporate managers, who generally take the form of district or area managers. A regular part of the hiring process for managers includes selling random items, on-the-spot, on the sales floor during an interview. Managers also respond to questions about previous leadership experience and specifics about supervising entry-level workers and daily operations.
There was no benifits for part time employees what so ever. They did not give anything minus a commision bonus and even that your targets were very high
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
