It was great, I found no problems with it! I love their ice cream very much though. Perhaps too much... Oh wait, that's not possible. Lol.
The tips are not divided amongst all employees like other companies, so you can make good tips most nights
There is a weeks payed vacation very lenient hours some time you can make your own hours and honestly I thank that’s pretty cool
I Love the Employee Discount: 50% off
There really isn't a benefit package I mean as a scooper you dont get insurance or anything you just get paid for doing your job, but then again I didn't anticipate a company like this would have a benefit package
You get 50% off of all stuff except cakes, half gallons and quarts. A free cake for your birthday, and a free scoop of ice cream each time you work. Depends on the boss though, I am assuming. It's pretty nice!
There are no benefits at brusters if you are just working as an ice cream scooper. I am unsure if there are benefits for managers and people who are higher up in the company.
You are always told you are part time. You end up working close to full-time and you get zero benefits.
No benefits at all, terrible pay, no hours, little to no tips even though they promise that people will tip (not for ice cream...)
When it comes to company perks, you get a small cup or cone at the end of a shift and you get 50 percent off ice cream. Another thing the owners do is have you earn 10 cents for every successful up-sell you make. At the end of the month, you could have anywhere between 15 to 60 extra dollars in your pocket. If it's not too busy you are allowed to sample the ice cream, but be careful! Sometimes crew leads will get annoyed if you sample ice cream or take a break at all. There are no 15 minute breaks nor 30 minute lunch breaks at Bruster's no matter how long your shift is.
