401k matching isn't on par with some other companies.
Bullhorn offers a tremendous benefits plan that not only are the employees expected to use but very much encouraged to use to their advantage. One benefit that I recently used was the 4 months of primary caregiver leave. After getting more information from the HR/Benefits team, it presented a unique and great opportunity for me to spend quality time with my newborn son during an important time of his developmental life that not many are able to nowadays. It was fully paid during this time. Prior to using this time, Directors and Vice Presidents here seemed genuinely excited that I was taking this time rather than the stigma of "that's too much time away from work". Of course my manager did check in on me throughout the time but it was never forceful or asking when I was coming back but merely a check to see how things were going and if I needed anything. The primary care leave was one of the best decisions that I have made for myself and my family and if anyone is given this opportunity, I highly encourage to take advantage of this benefit.
Incredible benefits, especially for the Midwest. Some of the benefits offered at Bullhorn are unheard of in St. Louis!
Health/eye/dental/life insurance, fitness reimbursement, 401K match, unlimited PTO, primary-care leave
The health insurance is fantastic but it is through a small company based out of Boston that is owned by United. It is accepted everywhere, but it often takes some headache first time using it with any provider because no one is familiar with it. Unlimited PTO is amazing, but it has more strings than they make it seem. T1s rarely get to use this benefit much given their metrics and needing to request time off so far in advance (which they are limited to the current quarter, as well). Other than those two complaints, the benefits are about as good as they could be. They are very affordable, very easy to use, and very robust in what they cover. Many would like to see the addition of a tuition reimbursement or student loan forgiveness program.
401K match was awesome, up to 3% if you contribute 6%. The company really treats its staff like family.
Regarding the parental leave policy: It's 4 months which is unheard of these days... most of my friends had to go back at 3 months and some at 6 weeks! Getting that extra month was really nice and I felt ready to come back vs rushed. It helped to know she was a little older especially with germs and they're just beginning to respond at that age - it's really fun!
401K, vacation, holidays, all great
Unlimited PTO is amazing - health benefits are some of the best i've had
The health insurance was way cheaper than my previous employers. I think it is mainly because most of the employees are very young.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
