Wait 1 year for 1 week of PTO and 1 week sick time & they force you to use it, hands down the worst company benefits I ever received.
managers are quite flexible with time off and seem to care about me trying to get work life balance. Otherwise normal. 1 week after 1 year of service, 2 after 2, 3 after 5?, 4 weeks after 15 years?
When C& S bought our company, we lost a week's vacation, and new employees needed more years to accrue fewer weeks vacation.
It was about standard. Worst part was that you had to get it approved by the next 4 people up the food chain, so it was often declined. Blackout weeks surrounding every holiday
The good thing about vacation time for salaried employees is that they don't really track how much you take so you could technically take more than your standard vacation time. The downside is that it's very hard to schedule time off because of the workload.
you get more time off the longer you work there
2 weeks vacation if hired as a Supervisor after the end of your 5th year you get 3 weeks and then 4 weeks once you reach 15 years. Top out is 5 weeks once you reach 30 years.
3 personal days a year and you have to work 40 hours a week to get hours for vacation. Well the company doesn't give 40 hours a week maybe 38..The disciplinary is the worst I have ever heard of. 6 offenses and 1 lasts 9 months this is everything combined
C&S offers 2 weeks to salaried employees, three weeks after 5 years, and 4 weeks after 15 years. Scheduling vacation times always had to be coordinated with the department and were often frowned upon if not convenient for the company.
1 week personal and 1 week vacation after the 1st year
