Adequate training. Nothing spectacular.
Offers different training to make sure you have knowledge and skills to do well
The job training is about perfecting the sales pitch and how to upsell hours to parents. It is a lot of role playing. This is where it is made clear that the director position is a sales position with little concern for education.
2 weeks online all sales
Garbage training for systems they regularly replace.
Paid training! And paid time for preparation for lessons!
They have you attend this online seminar, which is honestly needless when you're a tutor. You just need to tutor students on the ACT/SAT Prep.
Pretty exhaustive (and unnecessary, in my opinion) job training process. It lasts over two weeks, during which time you're expected to attend in-person sessions, make notes on these sessions for use on upcoming worksheets, and participate in at least 8 hours of group webinar with other prospective hires around the country. Worst part of the job by far, though I certainly can't say it left me unprepared.
They just stuck me in a room with the past assistant director with no direction. She just told me about what happened before and what I might need to know.
paied training in the beginning
