Our medical plans are available to all full-tim employees working 30 or more hours a week. Part-time employees working 20-29 hours per week are also eligible. Coverage begins on the first day of employment All eligible employees may enroll their spouses, registered domestic partners and eligible children for health care coverage.
There is a choice of 3 Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans to meet individual and family needs. Our PPO 1 plan has a $0 deductible. The plan deductibles for our peer plans range from $500 - $750 per individual and $1400-$1500 per family.
CDM Smith cover 70%, the employee covers 30%

The plans are affordable and very good, but the hoops to jump through in order to maintain a low cost is aggravating. You must participate in their wellness program to get the lowest cost.
Great programs and they paid 75 percent of premiums
Excellent, but employee pays based on service level. A fixed rate based on service and not as a percentage of salary, but this may be changing. Employee required to participate in wellness program for a supposed discount, but believe this to actually be a penalty system and it is difficult to maintain this after a couple of years due to a ratching point system (seems rigged).
Health insurance is EXCELLENT. Lots of people stay just for that, at least until they finish having kids. Maternity care/birth hospitalization is a very low flat fee. Includes fertility treatments and/or adoption assistance.
