It's the public sector so no bonuses or fancy perks but you do get a pension (percentage taken directly out of your paycheck whether you like it or not), 7-10 hours of vacation time each month, I believe 8 hours of sick leave each month, and the option to do a "regular day off" alternate work week schedule (where you work 9 hours a day for 4 days a week and every other week you get a day off).
Retirement plan is the best in the State.
The best is that is it is very comprehensive, the worst is that you may have to wait a fairly long time for some of the pension benefits to begin to be credited for you.
Excellent package! Sick leave, paid jury duty leave, and low cost health insurance! The dental insurance improves after 2 years of employment.
