Vacation plan is ok; just takes years to increase above 10 days. Great tech purchase plan. Good overall plans.
Best thing is the medical coverage. PPO is top notch and shows that they care about their employees well being. CDW should offer their employees access to stand up desks without having to earn them from partners.
The benefits and added bonuses are great. There are always vendor free lunches, and the health, dental, vision, and life insurance are top notch.
Best = 401K; Worst = school
Coworker Appreciation day is great, best schedule in the business. 401k and stock purchase is good.
It's comprehensive from medical, major medical, prescription, vision, dental, life insurance, etc. 401K with employer contribution and profit sharing.
Insurance is not very competitive compared to other large employers.
Best thing is vacation time. You get a good amount and no one will ever ask you twice if you truly need to be out today.
It's all very easy and straightforward
-PTO for the first few years is average. Depending on your segment, there are slower periods where it would be nice to be able to work remotely or just get the week off like our partners do (week of Christmas/New Years) -Tuition reimbursement is great! Up to $8000 per year (depending on tenure). CDW partners with universities for a further tuition discount--10-20% in addition to that -Lots of volunteer opportunities--I think we get 1 PTO day to volunteer -Partners cater breakfast, snacks, lunches most days of the week. -401K/Stock purchase plan -Social events---sometimes there are 3-4 events a week in which you can attend. Blackhawks, Bulls, Cubs, Sox games--even concerts. Happy hours as well. -Some managers throw contests for 1 half day or an extra day off--great incentive.
